Amalgam restoration

Amalgam restoration is understood to mean the removal of amalgam fillings and replacement by contemporary materials such as inlays. Amalgam, an alloy of several metals, was the standard filling material for tooth holes or tooth defects in the past and is rarely used today in German-speaking countries. Since these fillings, as dark seals in the teeth, can cause high levels of exposure to mercury, it is advisable to use metal-free and biological alternatives. Also from an optical point of view, the filling material we use in the Eppendorf Centre is becoming for you.
