Amalgam restoration
Amalgam restoration is understood to mean the removal of amalgam fillings and replacement by contemporary materials such as inlays. Amalgam, an alloy of several metals, was the standard filling material for tooth holes or tooth defects in the past and is rarely used today in German-speaking countries.
